I started in the motor trade in 1987, spent five years at Windsor technical college and after that I carried on my vehicle studies at the Vauxhall training centre in Luton. All at the same time as working full time for a Vauxhall main dealer.
After finishing all the courses with Vauxhall, I became a Master Tech and wanted to be more involved in customer service and fault finding. I did this for a year and then worked on warranty faults. All this was good fun but it wasn't the way I wanted to spend my working life. I then left Vauxhall to run a workshop as foreman! This was a great learning curve into another aspect of the motor trade.
After a few years of that job I knew I had to start my own business, the main push was my standards and trying to get others to work in the way I do. Allvaux Motors was then born in 2002.
Since running my own business I have also completed further courses in air conditioning and advanced fault diagnostics, even written a paper for the IMI.
I have customers that travel from Kent and from the Forest of Dean for me to service their cars and have been returning for many years after giving them advice online.
